Linus B. A board with excellent craftsmanship and durability. It lifts appearance of any food served to guests, especially charcuterie and cheeses
A celebration of craftsmanship and enduring design, this end-grain cutting board features a striking bison created from precision hardwood inlays—not engraving, printing, or surface decoration. Every detail is formed from solid wood, becoming an integral part of the board itself.
Crafted from carefully selected hardwoods, the end-grain construction offers exceptional durability while remaining gentle on knife edges. A generously sized juice groove helps contain liquids during food preparation, while the sculpted edges provide a comfortable grip for lifting and serving.
Designed for everyday use and refined enough to be proudly displayed, this is a board that performs beautifully in the kitchen and becomes a lasting centerpiece when not in use.
Our boards are substantial pieces of solid wood and are available in several sizes to suit different kitchens and ways of working.
Dimensions shown are nominal. As each board is individually made and finished, final dimensions may vary by up to ±5 mm / ±3/16". Weight is approximate and varies depending on the wood species and natural density of the individual piece.

Each board is made from carefully selected solid hardwood and built in end-grain construction, with the wood fibers facing upward on the working surface.
End grain creates a durable cutting surface while allowing knife edges to pass between the wood fibers rather than continually cutting across them.
Natural differences in grain, color and tone are part of the material and make every board unique.
Wash the board by hand using warm water and mild dish soap, then dry it thoroughly. Do not place it in a dishwasher or leave it soaking in water.
Allow the board to dry with air circulating around both sides. Reapply a food-safe board oil whenever the surface begins to look dry or pale.
Knife marks and gradual changes in color are normal signs of use. With regular care, an end-grain board can remain in service for many years.
After years of regular use, the surface can be sanded and refinished to remove deeper knife marks and other signs of heavy use, restoring a fresh working surface. The inlay extends approximately 5 mm / 3/16" below the surface, so the design will remain visible even after substantial sanding and refinishing.
Each board is carefully packed to protect both the surface and edges during transport.
